Kyla Woods wakes up believing that she has been captured by the men who killed her father and kidnapped her mother, but what she learns is stranger than anything she could imagine. She may have been dreaming all along. When she looks in the mirror, she looks different, has a different family, lives in a different town.

Confused and unsure of what is real, her therapist convinces her that Kyla Woods doesn’t exist. He tells her that everything that she believes happened was just a lucid dream. Just when she begins to believe the doctor, her world is turned upside down when the hunters show up looking for her again. While trying to escape them, Kyla transfers from body to body narrowly evading capture.

Her goal has always been to find her mother. Now she must also find her grandparents and aunt. She hopes that together they can uncover the truth that will save them all.
